Today/ yesterday we made our way to Japan! Starting off at 6pm at the Welly airport we made our way to Auckland and then spent the night snoozing and eating in the airport until we checked in at 4am! Then onto a 7am flight to the gold coast and then straight to Narito.
As soon as we arrived we rushed/ran through the airport to get to the 7:50 train which got into Shibuya station at 9:10pm.
Tony (An attache at the NZ embassy) took us straight to a little restaurant where we greeted with loud celebration and bowing and greetings. We dug straight into japanese cuisine, eating a noodle salad, octopus and some other more 'normal' food.
Then we walked our way to the NZ embassy and have hopped onto the wifi and then straight into bed so we're ready tomorrow morning to make our way to our new home!
